New security fence and wall to protect Chris Nissen Primary

Dear Friends, Family, Colleagues,

Chrissie, Lily and I would be eternally grateful if you could help support the fundraising of a new Clearview security fence and wall for the Chris Nissen primary school in Concordia, Knysna. We have supported this school for several years including the installation of a generator and supporting learners on local and national competitions, but this project will be larger.

I visited the school this week and Principal Myo and I did a tour of the grounds and the fence is in a state of disrepair with many gaps allowing easy access in/out which is threatening the safety of the c.1,000 learners there.

The school is doing such a fantastic job at giving these learners a great start in life but they need our help with this job.

We have sourced three quotes and have decided to go with a local company after I met with the foreman, Godfrey. We have seen his proposal in detail and he is ready to start immediately in January, to be ready for term opening mid Jan.

Any excess funds raised will be donated to the school for general purposes

Chrissie and I will sponsor the first £5,000.
