New Saxophone for Rising Wenatchee Musician

My name is Exekiel Tschritter and I am a saxophonist at Central Washington University. In the video, I am standing on the left playing alto saxophone. The saxophone in my hands is an Antigua Winds student model horn that my grandparents bought for me as I started marching band in high school. This sax has gotten me very far, but now it’s time to get serious. My professor, Dr. Wheeler, said she would help me pick the right saxophone once I have the means to purchase one. She gave me a price range of $2,500-$5,000. I know I want a Selmer, but haven’t gotten to try any yet.

I am working diligently to cover extra shifts and save money. Getting this saxophone is my top priority since it will set me up for success in the rest of my life. Thank you for taking the time to read this and help me along. Every dollar counts and I appreciate anything that comes my way.
