Risers still needed

We're raising money to benefit Gainesville Harmony Show Chorus, part of Sweet Adelines International. Our risers and the trailer we had for transporting them were stolen. We thank our anonymous benefactor for donating the funds to pay for a new trailer! We found 3 sets of risers and thanks to earlier donations, we had funds to use toward buying them and having them shipped to us. But we still need 2 more sets of risers. Any donation will help us replace all our risers. Thanks for your contributions to this effort. It means so much to us.

About Gainesville Harmony Show Chorus: Our mission is to advance the musical art form of barbershop harmony through education, performance, and competition. We seek to educate our community through free workshops, invitations to rehearse and sing with us in our concerts, and performances at public and private events in our community. We accomplish this by dedicating ourselves to musical excellence; educating ourselves and the community about our barbershop art form; actively participating as an integral and dynamic part of the art community, and promoting an environment of friendship, fun and harmony for all women in the area. We give one or two major concerts per year and provide other musical entertainment at a variety of local establishments and events. Most of these are free.
