HELP FUND A NEW PROJECTOR FOR OUR HOMETOWN MOVIE THEATRE

Hello Movie Fans,

We originally started this fundraiser with the goal of replacing our theatre seats—something we still hope to complete in the future. However, we've recently encountered a much more urgent need that requires us to shift our focus: replacing our failing movie projector.

Our beloved theatre has been a part of this community since 1938. For generations, families have come here to laugh, cry, and make memories together. Many of our longtime patrons tell us how they watched movies here as children—and now they’re bringing their grandchildren to experience the magic of the big screen in the very same seats.

But now, we need your help to keep that magic alive.

Recently, after installing a beautiful new screen and running some tests, we discovered that our aging digital projector is on its last legs. The part needed to repair it costs nearly two-thirds the price of a brand-new laser projector—a solution that’s not only more reliable but also much more energy efficient.

The cost of a new projector is $40,000.

We know it’s a big number—but we’re determined to do everything we can to raise the funds. We’re exploring grant programs and other funding sources, but we’re also reaching out to the heart of what’s always made this theatre special: our community.
