6km for 6 weeks for Sophie's new wheelchair

Meet Sophie and Vidyut.
They are both six, silly and super funny! They have been classmates and friends since the first day of school.
Born with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a rare condition, Sophie urgently needs to upgrade her powered wheelchair to continue having a good quality of life. SMA causes muscle deterioration and it’s progressive. As a result, Sophie is unable to crawl, stand, walk, or transfer independently from one place to another.
The new and rather high-tech wheelchair costs £27,000, and Vidyut would like to help his friend cover some of its cost.
Beginning the 20th of November, Vidyut will be running 6km for six weeks every Saturday at 9am at Black Park. (Vidyut likes to run. He can carry on running like Forrest Gump if not stopped).
Like any six-year old Sophie wants to enjoy her childhood, play with her friends and do what any six-year old likes to do. Unfortunately, she cannot.
But YOUR kindness can give her freedom - enough freedom to cope with her condition every day, give her necessary physical support and keep her safe while playing with her friends.
A new powered wheelchair can give Sophie better quality of life.
