New Play Development & Production

Donation protected
Hi! Let me tell you a little bit about this project, how you can be a part of it, and where the funds will go.

This is a new play I've been developing. It's about a group of three domestic violence agency workers who deal with budget cuts, burnout, secondary trauma, and a last-resort-fundraiser-talent-show-for-the-rich. It's also about their joy and their activism and their dedication to community.

The first act (~50-60 mins) was accepted to be produced at the Providence Fringe Festival in July for one night only! All ticket proceeds will be donated to the Rhode Island Coalition for Domestic Violence. At the performance itself, we will have a way for patrons to donate to their local agency, shelter, and/or coalition.

----
Budget Breakdown (this is a bare bones performance so all we really need is):

--Cast (3 Characters/Actors): $1500 ($500 per actor)
--Travel/Lodging Stipend: $900 ($300 per actor)

TOTAL: $2,400

AND please please please consider donating to, or volunteering at, your local agency or shelter. You can look up that information here: https://www.thehotline.org/get-help/directory-of-local-providers/.

Lastly, if you or someone close to you is experiencing intimate partner violence, here are some resources:
