New Pinc Louds EP (recording, production, PR, etc)

Hi!
We are Pinc Louds and we have been performing and making people happy (or weepy…or dancy) on the streets of NYC for almost 8 years. (Below are some videos, in case you need proof ;)
Until now, all our recordings have been self-produced and funded with money saved from our shows.
Now, the opportunity has come up to record an EP with Gordon Raphael (producer of The Strokes’ legendary “Is This It” and “Room on Fire” albums; as well as Regina Spektor’s “Soviet Kitsch”).
As you can imagine, we are over the moon about this possibility.
The very special new songs we’ve chosen to record are as cathartic, emotionally raw and (at times) danceable as anything we’ve done (if not more so) and we can’t wait for you to hear them sounding as beautifully as possible. Don’t worry: as much as we love The Strokes, we’re still Pinc Louds and we won’t try to sound like anyone else.
Our audience, and especially the community of New York City has given us so much already that I’m always reticent about asking for more. You have danced away afternoons and nights with us, screamed while banging on miniature pots and pans with us, left us little notes and drawings in our tip bucket... and yes, cash as well. Yet, here we are asking for a little more.
Recording, producing, mixing, mastering, paying musicians and promoting the EP costs more than our pockets can cough up at the moment. So anything (ANYTHING) you can give is humongously appreciated.
Maybe recording this EP will be instrumental in getting us a label (we’ve never had one) so that in the future we don’t have to reach out for money to record. Maybe it will open up opportunities that will allow us to tour more and come to your non-NYC city or country! Maybe it will just be a beautiful sound that will tickle your ears and pluck your heart strings. Whatever it is, we’re excited about making this happen.
Big love and a mouthful of human teeth to you all,
Federico / Claudi
