Investing in education with El Salto Gym

For the last few years, we have worked towards combining our professional experience and sports passion to build a sports complex in my homeland of El Salvador. Our enthusiasm for gymnastics led us to our new life project:
El Salto Gym, a gymnastics academy.
Gymnastics has been our passion, our constant companion, and became our way of life when we were coaches and managers in Switzerland and Germany. In addition to becoming internationally successful and reaching an Olympic Level, we believe that through gymnastics and its philosophy several values can be taught to athletes: perseverance, setting and reaching goals, discipline, body awareness, focus, space management, teamwork, and much more. On top of the gymnastics training we are seeking to reinforce schooling for our athletes.
Bringing gymnastics to San Salvador -with a touch of Swiss structure and dedication- is the key for us to help girls seeking an exit to violence, foster empowerment, and reach new levels of education to achieve a better future. We see our mission as the creation of a long-term artistic
gymnastics academy that encourages each athlete and contributes to their personal development to reach maximum performance levels in gymnastics and education.
We found a great location in Nuevo Cuscatlán near the capital, San Salvador. Our academy will be opening in January 2021. To convert the building to the very specific infrastructure of a Gymnastics Academy we need to make an investment of over $300’000 to purchase gymnastics apparatus, install dedicated equipment, build an education room, and outfit changing rooms for coaches and athletes. Our academy is designed to welcome 300 girls of all ages.
Your donation would enable Salvadoran girls to train in a modern and safe gymnastics environment, with the professional structure of sports and education to help achieve their dreams of building a better life.

Investiere in Bildung und helfe mit El Salto Gym eine bessere Zukunft zu gestalten
In den letzten Jahren haben wir darauf hingearbeitet unsere professionellen Erfahrungen und unsere Leidenschaft für Sport in den Aufbau eines Turnzentrums in meinem Heimatland El Salvador wahr werden zulassen. Unser Enthusiasmus für Kunstturnen hat uns zu unserem neuen Lebensprojekt geführt.
El Salto Gym – eine Turnakademie
Turnen, Kunstturnen ist unsere Leidenschaft, unser Lebensmittelpunkt und wurde unser «way of life» als Trainer oder Manager in Deutschland oder der Schweiz. Wir möchten mit El Salvador und El Salto Gym ein international gutes Niveau erreichen und wir glauben das durch Turnen und unserer Philosophie wichtige Werte für jede Athletin und das Leben vermittelt werden können. Ziele setzten, Ziele erreichen, Disziplin, Durchhaltevermögen, Teamwork, Körpergefühl, Zeitmanagement und vieles mehr. Dies alles möchten wir mit einem eigenen Schulsystem wahr werden lassen.
Kunstturnen in El Salvador – mit Schweizer Organisation und Struktur – zu beginnen soll zudem eine Hilfe für jungen Mädchen sein der Gewalt und Missbrauch zu entfliehen. Wir möchten mit Turnen und einer schulischen Ausbildung eine bessere Zukunft gestalten. Wir sehen unsere «Mission» als eine langfristige und nachhaltige Investition in junge Menschen und möchten alle ermutigen ihr persönliches Potential in Schule und Turnen zu verwirklichen.
Wir haben einen grossartigen Platz für unseren Traum in Nuevo Cuscatlan (San Salvador) gefunden. Unsere Turnakademie wird im Januar 2021 öffnen. Um den besonderen Herausforderungen an Material, Schule, Ausbildung Trainer und Halle gerecht zu werden müssen wir eine Summe von ca. $300000 investieren. Unsere Turnakademie ist ausgelegt für ca. 300 Turnerinnen.
