Rebuilding After Domestic Violence – Emergency Support

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my story.

I’m a survivor of domestic violence. I am currently in the process of rebuilding my life after leaving a dangerous and traumatic situation. Recently, I made the incredibly difficult decision to report and leave a violent relationship after a series of escalating incidents — including being physically assaulted and strangled. I am committed to starting over and getting the resources necessary to heal.

I’m wanting to move on and move forward in the most peaceful and positive way possible.

This fundraiser will help me:

• Repair and replace essential items that were damaged because of domestic violence

• Cover relocation costs so I can settle into a safer area

I’m not proud of the recent events that have occurred. I’m wanting to use my voice so that I can have the ability to make some serious changes. This chapter of my life has taught me that healing sometimes means accepting support and being vocal. If you’re able to contribute — it would mean the world to me. And if you can’t donate, sharing this with someone who might be able to is just as valuable.
