New outdoor learning canopy at Hinderton School

On Sunday 21st May I will be hiking up Mount Snowdon to raise money for Hinderton Primary School along with some friends. I will be stepping out of my comfort zone and climbing to the summit, which is something I have never done before.

We are raising money for the Autism Specific School that my son has attended since September 2022. The money will be used to fund a new quad area that unfortunately got damaged beyond repair in the high winds we encountered last year. This class currently does not have access to a covered outside area that can be used to enhance their learning.

Hinderton Teaching School provides high-quality Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and support for schools and Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) settings. They also train new teachers in Special Educational Needs Disability (SEND) in partnership with local providers. Importantly, it helps the children progress in the early stages of their education.

It would mean a lot to the school if we could raise the money to open up new opportunities for learning by having an outdoor space to use in all weathers.
