New Mobile Adoption Unit

2017 Was a record breaking year for us! For the first time in over 10 years we have rescued more than 100 dogs from the City of LaGrange Animal Services in just one year. That’s over 100 dogs spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and then placed into loving homes right here in our community! We continue to run our pet food pantry for members of our community through a partnership with LaGrange Family Aid. When people fall on hard times, so do their pets. We are proud to be able to continue to provide residents of Troup County with food for their pets through this voucher system. We have also supplied collars, leashes, dog toys and treats to officers in the Troup County Marshall’s Office who interact with residents in our county daily. Rather than cite a resident because their dog is off leash, they are able to provide them with a leash. This is one of the many ways that donations received by the Humane Society directly impact the animals here in Troup County. Now we need your help to continue this work in our community. A large number of our adoptions come from our Mobile Outings here in the community and our adoption trailer is rusting and falling apart...we need your help to acquire a new one from Jackson Creek Manufacturing. With your help and support, we can continue to positively affect the lives of homeless and abandoned pets here in Troup County!
