I’m Mimi Barks; Doom Trap artist, chaos channeler, and full-time independent creator.

Everything I’ve done so far has been self-built. No label budget, no investor, no trust fund. Just me and you, my Flock, my supporters. Making noise and carving our own lane in a scene that doesn’t hand anything to anyone.

You might know my earlier albums “ENTER THE VOID”, “DEADGIRL” & “THIS IS DOOM TRAP” that defined Doom Trap and built a cult following around a sound that lives somewhere between metal and trap, beauty and decay.

Every video, every stage dive, every scream I paid for it myself. I’ve put everything I have into this art.

My latest full-length album, written, recorded, and with music videos ready to go, is currently being held hostage by my co-writer in Germany. I can’t release it, even though it’s finished.

BUT I’m not waiting around.

This time, I’m starting again a new 5-track EP that’ll go even harder, darker, and heavier. It’s not a pity party, it’s a middle finger and a fresh start.

I’ve already spent everything on that last record, but I’m not planning to stagnate.
