New Milton Junior School is Giving the Gift of Reading this Holiday Season!

This holiday season, we are on a mission to spread the joy of reading to children who need it most. Our goal is to raise $400 (£320) to provide 820 books to children in underserved communities who have never had the chance to own a book. Together, we can make a life-changing difference, one book at a time.

Why This Campaign Matters

Did you know that 61% of children from low-income families don’t have a single book at home? Without access to books, many children miss the opportunity to learn, dream, and grow. By joining this campaign, our class is stepping up to help end illiteracy and give children the tools they need to build a brighter future

Where Your Donations Go

All funds raised will go directly to the World Literacy Foundation, a global nonprofit committed to eradicating illiteracy. Your support will help:

• Provide books to children in rural Uganda and other underserved regions.

• Build school libraries to ensure children have ongoing access to reading materials.

• Deliver vital literacy resources to classrooms that need them the most.

Every $5 (£4) donated can provide a child with a new book, giving them the chance to unlock their potential and improve their lives.
