GIGI'S REUNION: Saturday December 7th
Nick Ryck, former owner of Gigi’s Italian Kitchen and Catering in Irondequoit, is waiting to have a Lung Transplant at the Cleveland Clinic. Friends and Family are hosting an event to help raise money to assist with his expenses. Nick is now traveling frequently to Cleveland with his wife, Patty, for evaluations and typically is there for 3 or 4 days. When he is called for surgery, they will have to remain for at least 2 – 3 months after his discharge so that Nick can be seen regularly at the Clinic. He will be on 21 medications, many of which are anti-rejections drugs that are very expensive. Nick will beon many of these for the rest of his life. Nick will not get better without a transplant.
