Hi, most know me as Madeleine. I am autistic with ADHD( AuDHD)I use a service dog customized to my needs to be able to get through life.

Through the support of others here , I have acquired the most cutest, future service dog, puppy.

Now that he is here with me and because donors of asked if there is anymore they can do? I have made it possible to continue. All donors, if they wish, become honorary doggies godparents. Where anything you give goes directly to the care of this amazingly cute puppy.

I have increased the fundraiser also to allow those who had wished to donate but couldn't at the time, still can. More details to come.

*Backstory*

I recently lost my beloved service dog, Aleister, of 13 yrs., in late September. He helped me with my neuro-divergent symptoms, my severe anxiety and bouts of depression.

He died while we were in the process of relocating us to a bigger apartment. It was so we could start the new year with my goals of becoming stable enough to rehabilitate myself from my debilitating anxiety, which causes me to be too afraid to leave my home.

Aleister helped me be able to leave my home to go grocery shopping, visit the doctor and basically go anywhere I mustered up the courage to go to. He helped me function.

Now I am all alone. I no longer leave my house. Since moving in, the longest I have been inside was a little over one month, straight.

In order for me to leave, I need assistance. So I must wait for an home aide that comes once a week to help me. Mostly to go to my appointments. And deliver food I order online that must be picked up.

After spending the holidays alone for the first time ever, I have come to the realization that I must find a new dog, as soon as possible, to become my future service dog or at least be my little companion.

So, I have found another dog!!! And he is available to pick up ASAP.

He is a long haired Chihuahua puppy. SKK registered. Not a mixed breed so he costs more. His cost is 25,000kr / $2700 usd

I am disabled and can't work ( I also use a rollator).

I live all alone with disability insurance, from a foreign country, to support myself.

I'm terrible at asking for help. But I must try. The cost of all the of Aleister's medical bills and euthanasia, on top of my relocation costs, wiped out all of my savings.

I feel like I'm in a loop of hopelessness.

I need to leave my house to get better but I can't leave my house because my helper dog of 13yrs is gone. I need a new one but can't afford one. My mental health continued to decline. I can't seem to find a way out of this loop.

A new dog will give me something to focus on. Help me create new routines. Get outside to take walks. Walk to the grocery store. Over time I can be self sufficient again. I will no longer need a home aide. I will once again have a reason to keep going on in this life.

All funds raised will go to the purchase of my new dog. If I go past my goal, all funds raised will go to his care. Vet visits, food, treats, training costs, etc.
