New lights and field surface repair

Hello Everyone! My name is Jeff Dedeian and I am President and Maintenance Director at McLaughlin Park in Leominster, Massachusetts. McLaughlin Park is a vital establishment in our community and it is currently the home of the Central Mass and Leominster Babe Ruth Youth Baseball Organizations. I am reaching out to you to express my concern and inform you of the help the facility drastically needs. Since COVID, we have struggled to bring in the help and money that is needed to keep our facility going at the standard everyone expects. Much of the facility including the dugouts, announcer booth/storage buildings and restroom facilities have been around since the 70's and 80's and are in great need of repair and replacement. McLaughlin Park consists of two baseball diamonds. Both infields need to be re-leveled as rain over the years has caused much erosion. There is notable grade difference between the grass areas and the infields which impacts the safety of our baseball players during the games. The lower outfield also needs to be re-leveled as spots are starting to sink. In addition to the field maintenance, we have multiple electrical upgrades that are required for the lighting system of both fields. We have very old machines including a tractor and field drag which are over 20 years old as well. McLaughlin Park is a great facility which hosts over 1000 players from all over New England each year. Even with the fees we charge the teams to play at the facility our budget is unable to replace and maintain all of the needs. Our ultimate goal is to provide a safe and fun playing environment for the sport of baseball and any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
