New Light Collective: We Need Your Help!

As a currently all-student ensemble, we are dedicated to promoting contemporary music from diverse cultural backgrounds and bringing their music and new pieces by living composers and students to a wider audience. To achieve this goal, we are very honoured to be offered to perform in St James' Church Piccadilly's lunchtime concert series, which is a free event for everyone.

However, as we offer free concert events, we would like to seek support from whoever could kindly donate to cover our running costs, as we are not earning any money and currently do not have any donors to support our group. This fundraising is purely serving the purpose of covering the cost of running our concert on 10th May, and possible future concert costs if we are lucky to have more funds raised, so that we can continue to offer free or cheap concerts despite the costs needed to set up the concerts.

Hiring scores for the concert: £265

Hiring percussion instruments: £220

Transportation (of large instruments) and other outstanding costs: £115
