I am raising money for my brother who recently suffered life altering complications from Sepsis.  Scot is an aspiring actor who lives in California and has been in lots of commercials and some tv shows here and there, and has been an extra in many movies, but he never got his lucky break! One day he was fine and the next day he was fighting for his life as a raging septic infection had taken over his immune system. He managed to pull through after being on wide spectrum antibiotics, but not without permanent damages. . Today he is still in a skilled nursing facility trying to adapt to his new reality of requiring dialysis for renal failure and amputated hands and lower legs due to the sepsis. He is completely dependent on others for eating, drinking, doing all the simple everyday things that we take for granted. He will never be able to return the life he had before. All funds collected will go directly to help pay for prosthetics for his hands and feet, adaptable equipment and devices to help with everyday activities such as bathing, eating, brushing teeth, etc. He will need a caregiver to be with him 24/7. He needs a motorized wheelchair. There are so many things that he needs, but most of all he needs to know that there are people out there who care about him and are willing to help support him in this new reality!
