Hello Compassionate Friend ~

An orphanage currently caring for over 35 orphans, widows and elders in Waikiso District, Uganda needs our help. This fund drive would cover almost all of their expenses for one month: food, rent, water & medication as well as a Christmas celebration.

Sserubiri and I have some mutual friends and New Life for Orphans in Uganda is a legitimate Orphanage providing loving care and support for all who reside there. I have felt personally compelled by their story and wish to continue to support children, and others in need, wherever they may live to be fed, nurtured, healthy & educated in a loving environment.
 
Their monthly bills are:
$20/week for food for each child x 35 = $700/week x 4 = $2800/month
+ $600/month for Caretaker salaries & rent of site
+ $500 for gifts and a Christmas celebration for the children.
I started this gofundme for $3300, however, $3900+ would be most helpful for one month. 

Sserubiri Devis was also raised at an orphanage in Uganda as a child. As an adult, he has chosen to take on running and caring for these orphans, widows and elders living in Africa. Many of these children have lost their parents from the AIDS epidemic or cancer.  There are a few other caretakers at the orphanage as well.  


Any donation would go a long way for this beautiful group of humans.

I have begun conversations with an international organization that is based here in Olympia, Washington who has a chapter in Uganda, to align them with a cleaner water drinking source.

NEW LIFE FOR ORPHANS UGANDA
“Let’s create a loving home for every child.”

   Friends why am doing this Go Fund to raise this money for children:

·       To provide educational support to orphans and vulnerable children (OVC)

·       To ensure orphans and vulnerable children gain access to proper health care, public health and safe water.


·       To promote a Sustainable livelihood For Vulnerable Families


·       To promote protection, care and psycho-social support to OVC through building a home

·      To help orphans and other vulnerable children attain education, Health, Counseling support so as to help them develop.

·       To participate actively in life skill training and awareness through education programs like counseling and rehabilitation selflessly to a cross section of the civil societies in Uganda.

·       To equip the OVCs households with entrepreneurship skills and after avail financial support through low interest soft loans to boast income.

To provide HIV prevention, control and management services to our registered clients, "children."

New life for orphans Uganda as a registered humanitarian organization that was established in the year 2013, became fully registered with the government of Uganda in the year 2016. It is located along Hoima road, in Nansana Municipal council, Wakiso District central Uganda. Providing psychosocial, medical, Economic empowerment and Educational support to the orphans and other vulnerable children OVCs and their foster families.

The organization was established to help orphans that suffering due to diseases, family’s problems and early marriages.

Friends, Family, Brothers, Sisters, Dad and Mum we want to eventually raise $10,000 that will help us to make sure this will be done. Your trust and love will make these children our future generations, teachers and doctors of tomorrow.

The children also love to be given a festival this season, with that money, some of the donation you will give us we shall make a Christmas party for them and give gifts.
