New Life Academy - Muona, Malawi

Hi, my name is Jenny and I'm using the occasion of my birthday in November to start some fundraising to sponsor a number of girls education at New Life Academy in Muona, Malawi.

As some of you know, I was part of a mission trip to Malawi in July 2024. We stayed at the school and made some great connections with the director, teachers and pupils. We were able to make a donation to sponsor two girls for a couple of years and provide for a uniform, shoes and a school bag.

The director Phillip Lekeman is very passionate about education for girls to ensure that they have a hope and a future. Very often, teenage girls are caught up with early marriages and pregnancy. Their education is seen as a low priority by parents as opposed to the boys.

The team and I were very impressed by the staff and the dedication they have in educating these young lives.
