Three years ago my life changed completely. Started dialysis in July of 2022. It seemed like things only went downhill from there. I was immediately forced to stop working, which caused me to shut down my dealership. Due to me shutting my business down, I had no money coming in. I was selling anything I had to sell, including any cars that I had left over from the dealership, and was selling them well below their value just to get some type of money. It still wasn’t enough. Me and my wife came from looking for houses to buy in early 2022, to being evicted in June of 2023. We were forced to live out of her small car, sleeping in it for weeks at a time, and in and out of hotels whenever we could afford it, for the next 11 months. We only became able to afford the hotels when we could because I had finally been approved for disability, and started receiving it in August of 2023. We’ve had family and friends helping as much as they could, but it still wasn’t enough. In May of 2024, on my birthday, we were finally able to move into a new place, due to having someone co-sign on an apartment. Still unable to work due to my disability, we found a way to make it through to this day. March 12, 2025, I was called into the University of Md to receive my transplant. After a more than 10 hour surgery, I received a new kidney, and a new pancreas. Today, March 22, 2025, I have been discharged and have returned home. I am still unable to work at this time, and at least for the next three months, but am on my way back to living normally. While I am going through these next few months of recovery, I would like to ask if anyone in any way can assist us in maintaining what we have. Any donations or gifts will be greatly appreciated. I’ve took many losses, but have never stayed down. If you can, then please help us in any way. It’s a brand new life and whole new journey waiting ahead. I always come back better than who I was. Just watch for me!!!
