For more than a year, fledgling co-operative Anyone's Café and Bakery has employed talented principled and kind chefs, bakers, and baristas, brightening up our mornings and weekends. In the struggle to try to push through a very hard post holiday slump, Anyone's had to begin operating on very thin margins, almost week to week. Unfortunately this left little room for advance notice before the end of the business and without many resources to cushion a transition to a new place of employment.

Some of our workers were employed solely by the co-op and were the backbone of its operation in the past few months. We are seeking to collect roughly the equivalent of 2 weeks pay for two full-time positions at Anyone's, to be distributed among the workers who were there at the end, according to need, to cover the costs of life while finding new employment.
