Hello everyone!

I'm Chance Glasco, deeply involved with the world of jiu-jitsu and the creative director behind an upcoming game - Martial Arts Tycoon : Brazil. This game, rooted deeply in Brazilian culture, aims to bring the energy, passion, and resilience of Rio's favelas to the global stage.

But this mission goes beyond just pixels and gameplay. During my time living in Rio, I've seen young souls embracing Jiu-Jitsu, not merely as a sport, but as a lifeline—a tool for empowerment, discipline, and community growth. Many of these kids, however, face a simple yet significant barrier: the lack of appropriate training gis.

The Mission:

I'm on a two-fold mission this October:

1. Equip & Empower: To provide new Jiu-Jitsu gis to kids in Rio's favelas, ensuring that passion, not financial constraints, dictates their journey in martial arts.

2. Build Together: To gather invaluable art references for the game and engage with the community, seeking their perspectives, stories, and insights to ensure Martial Arts Tycoon: Brazil is authentic and resonant.

Plan:

From October 7th to 10th, I'll be immersing myself in Rio. I'll visit numerous gyms, hand-deliver these much-needed gis, and actively collaborate with the community—capturing their environment's essence and listening to their narratives.
