Hello. My name is Kathy Bonilla-Moravasik, my husband and I bought our home 15 yrs ago, raised our children here, now have grandchildren. Our home and yard was always the spot for fun, tons of kids. We love being outdoors more than indoors so we always had great seating, toys, trampoline, large above ground pool and now our property is destroyed and I don’t feel safe here any longer on many levels as we are being surrounded by rats. Once a food warehouse moved in behind us, it has ruined our lives. I’ve been in touch with health dept, zoning, lawyers, every state department imaginable.

I no longer can have my grandkids over to play, couldn’t open our pool, can’t be outdoors and it seems no one cares. I’m not sure if they are warehouse protected, or because they are huge tax payers but no one cares about us. I’ve taken all precautions to keep them out of the house but I’m afraid that is short lived. Exterminating is doing nothing. As long as a huge food source is just 3ft from my house this will never end. I can’t even borrow against this house to get out of here because of this infestation. My goal is to raise money for lawyer retainer if needed, and to get out of here now before one of us or our pets get sick. This is taking a real mental toll on me. I am not sleeping well, not eating well, every noise I hear makes me wonder if it’s a rat. It’s a horrible way to live in a place I once felt safe.
