New Independant Comic Book from AUS - ANIMAL MOTHER ISSUE#1

A hilarious take on the current political and social madness. The comic is seen through the lens of the Mandela Effect and set 23 years into an alternate timeline. The storyboard, script, logo and accompanying RPG/Battle card game have all been completed. We just need some support with printing, postage and merch costs. None of us are making any money out of this project, we just want to print you the finest glossy cover and beautiful full colour matte inlays that will warm your wet winter bottom. We will also be releasing limited edition playing cards that will be included inside every comic. Each printed issue comes complete with a digital download, custom collectable card and the first 50 backers with have their comic personally signed by the team. The first 70 backers will have their names personally thanked in the comic.

A Succulent Australian Prologue

The year is 2048, and a cold, brutal wind blows through the fractured remains of a once civilised world.

In this dystopian future, MadChin, once a symbol of ageless cool, is now a battle-worn relic caught between the rapid onset of aging and the crushing weight of excruciating lower back pain. He attempts to restore some semblance of balance and pride back to humanity.

Beside him stands his trusted companion, James Dr Gross, a foul-mouthed renegade known in underground circles as The Wretch and, on more chemically enhanced nights, Rad Max. He fights with feral precision, using a sawn-off shot gun he fondly calls 'Street Cleansing' to wreak havoc on his enemies.

The war that began as a cultural shift spiralled into a global reckoning. Women, tired of centuries of subjugation and patronising behaviour, seized power in a relentless coup.

Called the Regime, they systematically stripped away any remnants of the civilised world. This left behind a society where extreme violence, systematic surveillance and oppression were once again the norm.

But the revolution didn't stop at equality, it evolved into

An iron-fisted, regimented rule where men were relegated to servants and naked dinner plates for the rich.

The contrast in New Amsterdam is stark, once a beacon of prosperity and hope, it’s now reduced to a decaying battlefield where propaganda and fear keep obedience with its citizens. The Cyborg Enforcer Units create an ever-present atmosphere of control, while megaphoned drones bombard the streets with psychological warfare, urging betrayal and turning civilians into informants. Some support the resistance in secret, others willingly comply with the Regime to avoid their own demise?

Chapter 1: The Blue Room

For MadChin and James, survival isn't just about dodging bullets, it's about holding onto their brotherhood, dignity & humour. A dwindling stash of refined cocaine, mouldy weed and a pinch of Toni for MadChin's ever increasing back pain also helps stable the cause.

MadChin views the world with a sense of weariness and disillusionment. Mentally struggling with his rapidly advancing age slowing him down day by day.

Their hideout, level 7 of a rundown apartment block, is rented under the pseudonym Rev. Don Bukowski.
