Tastee Diner has been a West AVL staple since 1946. Independent Chef Steven Goff purchased the business in 2022 to keep the Tastee name alive instead of losing it to condos. Being a single business owner who pays his staff living wages and donates money, food, and time to the houseless community, there tends not to be leftover money for improvements. Tastee is in dire need of a new hood vent and could use all the help we can get to keep the atmosphere clean and healthy for guests and employees alike.
