This past week, my sister, her boyfriend, their four month old daughter and pets were evacuated from their home in Pescadero, CA which has since burned to the ground. My sister and her small family had only lived in the area for a year, with few resources to establish themselves in an area with a very high cost of living. They now have even fewer, and are travelling North, staying with friends and in hotels, seeking refuge and a new home. I have created this profile to help with the cost of temporary housing, travel, baby supplies, food, and the eventual expense of a new rental (first, last, deposit). The sooner that we can raise these funds, the sooner we can get them off the road and into the stability of a new home. We are also seeking housing leads in CA, OR and WA.
