Michael Jaso Legacy Fund

We are currently in week 5 of Michael being hospitalized for significant heart illness. He had a major heart attack on November 19th, and since then has had significant set backs. He has severe damage to his heart from the heart attack, he has diagnosed heart failure, a weak and small valve, an abnormally narrow aorta,  heart arrhythmia, and more blockage in other areas in his heart. He has experienced more VT's (ventricular tachycardia) than I can count. Throughout this he has been shocked, had CPR applied to him, and has even medically died numerous times throughout this process. 

Up to this point he has had numerous major procedures done and is on significant life support right now.  Doctors have concluded that the only option for him is a heart transplant. He needs a new heart and it is possible that we could get one as early as this weekend! As you can imagine, this has been extremely difficult for our family. We have a family wedding (Marc and Emily)  in 8 days, we have 4 grandchildren that miss their Gpa, Juanita misses her husband, Me and Marc miss our dad, and we just have a lot of family who are hurting.

But Michael has been a champ throughout all of it! He has fought and displayed poise even with death being so near to him. On Monday evening he suffered through a straight hour of VT, and even in the midst of that he still was able to make jokes with the doctors who were trying to save his life! And anyone who knows him, is not surprised by this. 

Would you consider giving to this cause? His heart transplant will cost $975,000. This does not count the medication he will need afterwards or the last month of hospitalization and all the procedures he has had at 3 different hospitals. We thank you and we love you.
