New Heart for Lesley(Les)Lerma
Donation protected
Lesley 'Les' Lerma is a single father of three boys. He owns his own business for the past six years. He is now being told he cannot do so anymore. He is a very loving and big hearted man that is always there to help others whenever they asked.
Les has been a single father for the past sixteen years. He did whatever he needed to do and more for them.
Two years ago he started having problems with his heart. He went to Hilo Medical Center several times only to be sent home with little or no help at all. They would prescribe medicine that seemed to make everything worse. He finally found a doctor that took the time out to help him. The doctor sent him to Queens on Oahu. They admitted him right away and ran multiple tests. The result came back with him needing a heart transplant, which needs to be done within the next three months before his kidneys and liver start to shut down.
Queens will be sending Les and one companion to Stanford Hospital in California on January 12, 2017. That one companion they are allowing Les to have is his youngest son Isaac. While there, they will have to be waiting for a heart donor. We please ask for help in anyway for Isaac to be with him by his side in California. The medical will pay for Isaac to fly and be with Les. Unfortunately, medical will not pay for living expense or the remaining time after the heart transplant is done in California.
Les two other sons will remain in Hawaii. They are here helping me with their grandfather with stage four cancer.
We humbly ask for an abundance of prayers and is truly appreciated.
Thank you and God Bless
