Hi, my name is Ben and I just graduated from clinical massage therapy school in December and my van that I got in October as a "need to get to school for the last two months" and a "graduation present" to myself to be able transport everything to my clients suddenly stalled. After getting it to a shop to be looked at they say its timing belt broke some of the cam teeth and the engine has to be replaced. Considering it is a 2011 and only had 125,000 miles on it and I still owe a considerable amount on the loan, I am extremely disappointed and frustrated. I'm working two jobs to stay running and this sets me back a lot. I'm trying to get a loan to cover the engine repair but no one wants to touch it.
I'm trying to come up with the money so I can get it repaired so that I can keep providing my brand new business clients everything that they need. While I can get around locally on foot and by public transit for my stuff, I need the van for transporting my table and other supplies to my clients.
The funds will go to helping to cover the cost for a replacement engine and the labor involved with repairing it.
