The FLM Haiti medical committee and I are raising money to benefit the Functional Literacy Ministry of Haiti (FLM Haiti) and any donation will help make an impact.  I have traveled annually to Haiti with FLM  medical mission teams since 2014, joined the medical committee in 2015, and finally joined the FLM Haiti Board of Directors in 2020.
FLM-Haiti is a Pittsburgh based organization serving Haiti for more than 30 years.  As the number of Covid19 cases are rising, we are seeing increasing numbers of patients coming to our clinic to avoid the hospitals.  Our clinic is now without power.  Without power, we do not have running water, adequate lighting, or refrigeration for vaccines and medications. If we are fortunate enough to raise funds needed for the generator, additional funds raised will be put towards PPE for our current employees, and money to help our furloughed employees.
