New Gear for disabled Elite player Jerry Farris

UPDATE: Given that we reached our original goal in under 5 hours I've increased the goal to the point that we could purchase a MUCH nicer PC for Jerry as he's strongly considering starting his own Youtube channel around disabled gaming. A new PC would help greatly in that and all his endeavors! HUGE THANKS TO YOU ALL

Recently disabled gamer Jerry Farris came to the attention of the wider Elite Dangerous community when he joined a live stream to discuss his disability, spinal muscular atrophy (very similar to muscular dystrophy). While this has left him with only the use of his thumbs he demonstrated the work he's done to built a Voice Attack profile to allow him to fly his ship using only his voice. He stunned the live audience and after the stream many others when a clip went viral in the Elite community showing him land an Asp Explorer using only voice commands. Not a docking computer, his voice controlling the attitude and position of his ship just like anyone else would do with a joystick or mouse.
During the discussion we learned that the disability payments Jerry receives don't even cover the essentials, as such the equipment he uses to play Elite meets only the minimum requirements. We're asking for your help to obtain the following for him, and possibly more based on your generosity.
- New GPU (TBD based on response)
- 6+ Months broadband internet (originally planned a VR headset but have learned Jerry's condition would prevent him from using such a headset)
- High quality microphone, easing his voice control
- Wireless earbuds so he can easily communicate with others during gameplay
- (Optional) New PC/gear based on fundraising totals
If you can't help financially please share this with those around you who may be able to. Our goal is modest, less than some players have spent on skins for the game alone. Thanks for any assistance you can provide as we hope to make this bright spot in Jerry's life, playing Elite Dangerous even brighter!
