New Fire Truck Needed for Brave Volunteers

Who we are:

We are a group of friends from a small town in northern Serbia. I (Dragana, the fundraiser) grew up there in the 90s where I learned the values of friendship, community, integrity, and helping people in need. It is my very friends from my class who are running the volunteer society that needs our help now.

The Goal:

Raise as much as we can to help the volunteer firefighter organization purchase a new truck and unlock new benefits from their municipal budgets.

What we need:

Help us raise funds to purchase a fire truck much needed for a community of volunteer firefighters in a small town in Serbia. This truck, advertised for sale in Slovenia , which will replace an unreliable truck from 1971 currently used by the volunteer firefighters in tandem with a tractor-pulled water tank. This truck will allow the volunteers to respond to emergencies within a much shorter time and significantly increase their impact and response for neighboring towns.

The volunteers are all trained, certified and licensed as professional firefighters but they are not compensated for their time or efforts. They work in donated uniforms and second-hand equipment donated by other volunteer organizations around Europe.
