The Wide Angle Photo Club (WAPC) is a 501(c) not-for-profit organization in Pensacola Florida. The club first met in 1988. We have an annual photo show, the Power of Photography®. This year will be our 30th show and it will be held on November 3-5, 2023 at Voices in Pensacola. This coincides with the weekend of the Greater Pensacola Art Festival.

We are one of the few photography shows that display printed images at our show. The show is judged and prizes are given out.

Our proceeds are donated to local, needy not-for-profits that support the handicapped and others. We take no income from the club.

For the display of photography, we initially built crude PVC pipe and canvas displays to hang the art. About 10 years ago we built wooded displays (pictured above). These have worked but they are very heavy and require hired help to set up and take down.

They have run their course and need to be replaced.

The request of this Go Fund Me Page is for donations to go toward replacing our displays for our future shows.

The new displays we have identified are powder-coated metal, lightweight and engineered for this exact use. We will be able to store these in a smaller place and set them up on our own thus cutting our fixed costs. I foresee these lasting for a dozen or more years. We also hope to be able to loan them to other art groups for their displays.
