New Course by Credo Courses: Of First Importance
Donation protected

This is a new Credo Course taught by me (Michael Patton) called Of First Importance. And this course really is "of first importance" when it comes to understanding and telling others about your Christian faith.
In short, it is a comprehensive biblical, historical, and theological look at what are the essentials to our faith and what are the non-essentials to our faith. This chart serves as a guide.

We talk a lot about the mantra "In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things, charity." However, so many of us differ on what the essentials are. Christ's death on the cross, the doctrine of the Trinity, the inerrancy of Scripture, young-earth creation, complementarianism, and the like are often mixed together in the same category, expressing a belief that these are of equal importance. But are they?
We will look at this matter biblically and historically attempting to come up with some rules that we can be confident in for this doctrinal hierarchy.
Here are some of the subjects we are going to cover:
· The Uncertainty of Certainty
· Introduction to Essentials and Non-Essentials
· Biblical Foundation
· Church History
· Proposed Rules
· The Difference in Evangelicals, Fundamentalists, and Liberals
· We Will Give Test Cases
This course will come complete with a workbook, syllabus, suggested assignments, textbooks, and quizzes.
But I need your help to make this happen. This is why I am reaching out to the Credo community for help. We need all of you.
You will have my great thanks for any amount you can contribute. The more we raise, the better the production value will be!
Here are the rewards:
$100 or more: you get free early access to all the materials (audio, video, PowerPoint, and workbook).
$500 or more: you get listed as a producer on a page during the credits with all others who give this amount.
$1000 or more: you get listed as an Executive Producer on a page by itself during the credits.
Any amount: free audio of the course.
Let's get this important course out there!
