New Computer, New Start

On October 5th I flew into Oakland to direct a short film for a friend.  My friend and I stopped at a bar to grab a bite to eat really quick. Put my stuff in his trunk, 20min later got a text saying someone used two of my credit cards. Went to the car, they took EVERYTHING. They took my luggage with my favorite Oaklander sweatshirt inside, my new pink Jansport backpack, medicine, prayer book, my business laptop from Netflix AND my personal computer which had ALL my scripts, that weren't backed up. 

Right now I'm in the middle of production and still replacing things. I just replaced all my pants they stole...of course they took the pants that only fit me lol.  My apartment keys, car keys, house keys, clothes, glasses, which all cost over $800, equal to one of my paychecks. The one thing I haven't been able to replace is my computer. My friends renters and auto insurance didn't cover what was taken from me.

I know I'm asking for a lot but I need your help to replace my computer. I filed a report with Oakland and Emeryville Police Department, (see above) and my mom went to the gas station where my card was reportedly used and reviewed the tape with the gas station manager, but no luck. My friend is offering his discount code for a refurbished computer, but it still comes to $2000.  Any amount you can give means a lot to me. I'm rewriting my scripts on my work/business computer, but I have to give it back at the end of this show and make sure it's in the office at all times.
