New Clothes for a Growing Foster Teen

Donation protected
My name is Bea. I saw this last night, and it broke my heart. He’s still wearing the same PJ shorts he was taken from his family in—over four years and three months ago. In that time, he’s grown from 4’10” to 6’1”, yet he’s still forced to wear the same clothes. He desperately needs a haircut, razors, shoes, warm clothes, and a jacket.

As a federal lobbyist for foster youth, I fight every day to bring children home. Too often, they remain in the system not because it’s what’s best for them, but because they generate too much federal funding to be let go. I urge you to read Injustice Inc., a book exposing a company in Texas that, with just a child’s name and Social Security number, can calculate exactly how to maximize federal funding at that child’s expense. Many of these children are subjected to dangerous combinations of psychotropic drugs, lining the pockets of Big Pharma, and are removed from their homes without proper protocol being followed.

Please donate what you can to help provide him with warm clothes, a jacket, and new shoes—or contribute even more to help bring him home, where he will be truly cared for and loved.
