Let me start out by saying this - people can be so HORRIBLE. 

My parents left Washington at 8 am Wednesday morning to drive my younger sister to her new home in San Diego California. She has been talking about moving to Cali for years and it was finally her shot. She just turned 21 years old and this is her first time flying the nest, on to her own adventure. They drove 14 hours and stopped to stay at a hotel in Sacramento. They placed a huge bolt lock on the Uhaul and parked it under a light, all in a gated parking lot. When they woke up this morning, my mom had a gut feeling something wasn’t right. She asked Tianna to stay inside while she went out to check on the Uhaul. Everything was gone. All of Tianna’s Christmas gifts people had gotten her to furnish her new house, all of her clothes, her toiletries, her art supply, her personal journals, everything was gone. The police refused to come do anything because the parking lot had no cameras. They didn’t even bother to care. 

Tianna had been left with the clothes on her back and still has hours to go before reaching San Diego. Adjusting to adult life, paying your own bills, and now having to start over and replace all of her belongings is a burden I wouldn’t wish on anyone.
