Ultramarathon in memory of Craig Chalmers

After approaching @jonathanpain, he suggested changing the initial challenge to make this as personal as we could to Craig and to the Skateboarding Community that he loved so much. 

So, together, we’ve created an Ultra Marathon spanning over 50k that will test me both physically and mentally.

The Ultra will take me through a route designed to remember Craig at every corner. 

From the Kilpatrick Hills, where we shared many walks and laughs, to his favourite skate shop @clanskates in Glasgow, through various skate spots in and around the city and places special to us in Erskine.

The run will end at @Unit23official in Dumbarton where we’ll host a skate jam in Craig’s honour. 

Underpinning the whole campaign will be the opportunity to start conversations among skaters about suicide prevention and about open communication. 

Alongside this, working with the @benraemersfoundation will allow your money to raise funds that continues this work and helps us to provide leaders in the community with suicide awareness and ‘first aid’ training. 

I’m excited to have this opportunity, in Craig’s name, to build something positive out of our heartfelt loss and hope you can join me in the journey, watch me suffer in training and share this as much as possible!
