New Business Startup: Inspire CCC

Dear Potential Investor,
I am writing to invite you to be a part of a new business and ministry venture I am starting. The name of the business is Inspire CCC: Coaching, Consulting and Curriculum Development.
This has been a season of transitions for me out of the local church after 17+ years of full-time service as a children’s minister, youth director, adult discipleship pastor and associate pastor. During that time I was given opportunities to work with all ages and different ministry areas including missions, preaching and becoming a published author. I have enjoyed these years of ministry and find myself in a position to be able to use my gifts and experience for the wider church.
The three areas I plan to focus my energy on are in coaching, consulting and curriculum development. I have been “coaching” for many years doing pastoral care. I plan to continue this both with individuals or groups. Life coaching is a fast growing approach to mental health, developing goals or transformation. These are uncertain times and people are having to find new and different ways to find healing. Coaching is one way that people can get professional help without insurance. My target audience will be with women in ministry, birth moms and general life coaching.
My experience in creating discipleship pathways, programs and classes gives me credibility to be able to consult with churches who need an outside perspective or fresh ideas for this new day of making disciples. I have many recommendations from those I have worked with in the past that speak to the knowledge I have in the area of discipleship. I feel that I have something to offer others, particularly those who can’t afford the overhead to hire clergy or staff. I am also in a great position to help congregations going through transition.
Since my days in children’s, youth and camping ministry, I have been creating my own content for specialized (and affordable) curriculum. I am now a published curriculum author with Cokesbury, Seedbed and World Methodist Evangelism. I am poised to be able to consult and help churches develop their own curriculum or contract out to write it for them. My theological slant is Wesleyan with a high value on grace. As an ordained United Methodist Deacon I will seek to appeal to churches within the pan-Wesleyan denominations but will not limit myself to that.
I believe this business venture is Holy Spirit inspired. In fact, it was the impetus for the choice in the business name. The Latin root for inspire means “to breathe” as one blows on a fire to help it grow. I believe that I will be assisting the Holy Spirit in this work by using my skill set to coach, consult and develop curriculum. I hope you will consider joining me in this ministry start up. It is exciting but also overwhelming as I begin to add up the costs associated with going out on my own. I’d like to share a few of those with you:
- A physical office space for doing in person coaching and a confidential space to conduct telecommunication sessions
- website hosting
- LLC costs
- publications and mail outs
- at least one month’s salary for myself without other employment while I build my business.
- I also foresee needing to be in person for consulting and possible speaking engagements which will mean travel expenses.
Thanks again for prayerfully considering what you can contribute toward Inspire CCC, LLC.
Yours and His for the Kingdom,
