New Bus StepbyStep School Offinso Ghana

The Step by Step School is a non-profit school for needy children from troubled or low-income families in Offinso, Ghana. The school enables children with difficult family backgrounds to enjoy education and creates better future opportunities for them.

The school bus is one of the main essentials for ensuring that the children can come to school everyday. With the bus they get picked up in the morning and are brought back home in the afternoon. Because of the long distances and the dangerous roads the school‘s own bus is the only way for the children to come to school.

But now the problem: the current bus is way too small for all the children and most parts of the bus are broken-down. The bus already broke down several times on the way to school or in the afternoon.

It is not safe anymore to transport the children with this bus for a longer time and the amounts and cost necessary for repair are too high and not worthwhile.

 

The Step by Step School is supported by volunteers from Germany at this moment - we as volunteers want to use our possibilities to help finance a new bus in order to ensure that these children can come to school.

 

We would be very grateful for any support that helps us finance an new bus to keep taking the children to school.

Every child has the right to education. The actual access to education should not be prohibited by an old and broken-down bus.
