My brother (Who never smoked a day in his life ) unfortunately, has been struggling With interstitial lung disease(ILD) for well over 8yrs. His quality of life had dwindle to a point of no return. His doctors(Great team In Gainesville, Florida) presented my brother with shocking news. The news that the only option available to him For survival, would be for him to have a double lung transplant. This news was another tremendous blow, to my Brother, physically, mentally, and especially financially. My brother has private insurance however he’s still under insured for this type of procedure, and all the necessary medical necessities that are attached.
