Last Saturday, July 20th, our beloved church was lost in a devastating fire. Pleasant Grove Baptist Church is not only a spiritual home for many in our community, but it is also a historical landmark in Darlington, South Carolina. Established 156 years ago, Pleasant Grove Baptist Church has been a cornerstone of faith, community, and fellowship for many generations. Our church has witnessed countless baptisms, dedications, weddings, and celebrations of life. For many of us, it was more than a church - it was home!
We are so grateful for all of the support we have received and are thankful for the outpouring of love the community has shown our church family. We have decided to create this GoFundMe for those who have asked to donate and support us as we prepare to rebuild our church home. Every donation will go directly toward restoring Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
