At the facility where I work, there are 13 wonderful residents who each deserve comfort and dignity. Over time, the personal sets of bed sheets that once belonged to each resident have been mixed together in the community linen closet. Now, there might be only one set of sheets that actually match, and it’s become clear how much a simple thing like a neatly made bed can mean to someone’s sense of self-worth.

I’ve seen firsthand how important it is for each resident to have their own set of matching sheets. It’s not just about comfort—it’s about dignity and respect. I wish I could provide these for everyone myself, but it’s more than I can afford on my own. That’s why I’m reaching out for help. With your support, I will purchase a new set of matching bed sheets for each resident and make sure each set is kept together in their own closet. I’ll also work with my coworkers to ensure these new sets are respected and maintained.
