Greetings everyone!

 

My wife and I moved to our new apartment just shy of last year. Sadly, after settling into our new place, we must move again. Long story short: our landlord reunited with his wife and daughter after 4 years of separation. He needs a new home for his family that will be close to his daughter's school. The only apartment suitable is our unit. As much as we are shocked by this news, we are more content to see our landlord happy, and we understand that he must meet the needs of his family.

 

We've currently set our eyes on a quaint spacious apartment in Forest Hills, Queens. It is near I-495 (Long Island Expressway), which is convenient for ministry business. it is a 2Br. apartment with enough living and workspace for both me and wife. We already applied for the apartment, just waiting for approval. there are already several applicants for this unit. We are praying that we will be selected, and if so, to have the provisions ready to move in as soon as possible.

 

That is why we NEED your help! The rent is $2400 dollars a month w/ heat and hot water included. To move in, the landlord requires 1st month's rent and deposit, which equals to $4800 dollars. The extra $200 of our goal is to purchase moving materials (boxes, tape), and to pay for fuel traveling back and forth. This new location is nearby our current home, so we won't need a moving truck, just our church van to move our belongings bit by bit everyday of next month, IF we can secure the place by the first week of January.
