Help Us Fund a Life-Saving Ambulance for Hatzalah
When a medical emergency happens, every second counts.
Hatzalah volunteers are often first on the scene—delivering critical care in those vital first minutes before an ambulance arrives. They are entirely volunteer-led, giving their time day and night to save lives.
This is something that is personal to me. Hatzalah has helped my own family on more than one occasion, and I’ve seen first-hand the speed, professionalism, and care they bring in critical moments.
Importantly, Hatzalah is there for everyone—regardless of faith, background, or colour. When someone calls for help, they respond.
But right now, they need our help.
Very recently, four Hatzalah ambulances were deliberately targeted and set on fire in an antisemitic arson attack in Golders Green. The vehicles were parked and clearly marked emergency ambulances. The incident is being treated by police as a hate crime and caused significant damage, taking vital life-saving resources off the road.
This wasn’t just vandalism—it directly impacts emergency response times and the ability to save lives.
We are raising funds to replace what was lost and put a brand-new, fully equipped ambulance back into service.
Why this matters
In a cardiac arrest, every minute without treatment reduces survival chances by up to 10%. Faster response times aren’t just helpful—they are life-saving.
This ambulance will:
- Enable faster response to emergencies
- Provide advanced life-saving equipment on scene
- Support Hatzalah’s volunteer medics in delivering critical care
Quite simply, this will save lives.
What we’re raising
Our target is £150,000, which will fund:
- A fully equipped frontline ambulance
- Advanced medical equipment (defibrillator, oxygen, monitoring systems)
- Specialist medical fit-out and supplies
A community effort
Hatzalah is funded by the community, for the community. Every donation—large or small—brings us closer to putting another life-saving vehicle back on the road.
If 1,500 people donate £100, we reach our goal.
Please donate if you can. If not, please share.
One day, this ambulance could be there for someone you love.
