New Album by Tristan Starling

Hey dearest friends, family and fans. It's that time for me again! I've got a floodgate ready to open and another album to be unleashed into the world to have a good sniff around like a really cute puppy, bounding affectionately in search of your ear biscuits.

After my universally loved, critically acclaimed, institutionally bomdiggity album "Ofrenda" (2019) I feel like I've definitely discovered the best way for me to write and work. By limiting myself to a relatively short timeframe and devoting most of my time to just being engrossed in the work in my studio, everything seems to just come together in the most magickal way, regardless of how much writing I've done prior. Similarly to last time I've got about 1/3 of an album penned out and the other 2/3 will happen purely as a result of me engaging with this process. I love writing and working this way.

In order to do this I basically just need to take time off work and flippin well go for it, and for that reason I'm humbly holding out my hat and asking for all you awesome patrons of the arts to donate me some money in advance, hopefully knowing full well after Ofrenda, that my instrumental, vocal and production talents will not let you down. It's an investment in the future of musical yummyness.

Basically, the more time and money I can devote to this project, the more amazing it will be and the more incredible musicians I can pay a decent wage to come and record with me.

ALSO: For every £100 donated, I will be donating £5 to a different charity EACH MONTH as chosen by the highest doner that month!

AND: The highest doner of the whole campaign will get to choose 1 from a selection of cover songs for me to record and produce for the album. Sounds like fun eh? ❤️

I'm very much looking forward to getting into this! My plan is to fundraise as much as I can and begin work in April - hopefully completing the recording and arrangement by the time Inca and I travel to New Zealand at the end of July with the idea being to finish mixing and mastering everything once we're back home mid August.
