Hi, I’m Heidi. I am reaching out to the community for help. I am in need of a new A/C system. My 26-year-old unit is in desperate need of replacement. In spite of having 3 jobs (Caregiving for children and young adults with Autism, running my own cake business and pet sitting), I do not have the resources for such a big expense. Having filed bankruptcy last year, I am unable to qualify for credit.

My adult son, Scott, who is autistic, lives full time with me. I just want to provide a comfortable home for the both of us.

An A/C Company was able to do a temporary repair that SHOULD get us through this summer, but the unit will still likely fail sooner rather than later. I am saving as much as my budget will allow, but
