I’ve recently been selected to take part in the NEVZA volleyball tournament, held in Denmark. We’re playing teams such as: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden (and a few more). This is a huge opportunity for me to represent England and take my athletic career to the next level. Unfortunately, the sports funding VE receives is very minimal, therefore it pushes a lot of costs onto the players. The trip will cost me over £1000 to cover all costs, including travel, registration, coaching, food, buying VE kit etc. Theres a heavy pressure on me financially to be able to commit to the squad and any amount of help and support is appreciated tremendously.
