Hallo allemaal,

Kelly ‘the legend’ hierzo, zoals jullie weten heb ik een grote passie voor gewichtheffen. Hoewel ik pas na mijn 30ste met deze sport ben begonnen, heb ik door hard werk, discipline en een enorme drive al veel bereikt. Nu heb ik de kans om deel te nemen aan het Masters EK Gewichtheffen in Albanië, en dat is een droom die uitkomt!

Het EK is voor mij een kans om mezelf uit te dagen, te groeien en te laten zien wat mogelijk is, zelfs als je pas later in je leven met iets nieuws begint. Maar een avontuur als dit brengt kosten met zich mee, zoals:

• Inschrijvingskosten

• Vervoer naar Albanië

• Overnachting

Naast mijn baan als buschauffeuze steek ik al mijn vrije tijd in training, maar om deze reis mogelijk te maken, heb ik jullie hulp nodig. Dit is niet alleen een kans voor mij persoonlijk, maar ook een stap richting het inspireren van anderen om hun dromen na te jagen, ongeacht hun leeftijd of situatie.

Jouw steun, groot of klein, betekent enorm veel. Met jouw hulp kan ik deze droom realiseren en hopelijk een inspiratie zijn voor anderen in onze community.

Kelly ‘The Legend’ here! As many of you know, I have a huge passion for weightlifting. Even though I only started this sport after turning 30, I’ve achieved so much through hard work, discipline, and determination. Now I have the opportunity to compete at the Masters European Weightlifting Championships in Albania, and it’s truly a dream come true!

This championship is a chance for me to challenge myself, grow, and prove what’s possible—even when starting something new later in life. However, an adventure like this comes with costs, such as:

• Registration fees

• Travel to Albania

• Accommodation

Alongside my job as a bus driver, I dedicate all my free time to training. But to make this journey possible, I need your help. This isn’t just a personal milestone—it’s also an opportunity to inspire others to chase their dreams, no matter their age or circumstances.
